Q4 2023 Performance of Top Theme Parks Apps in Latin America on Android
Sensor Tower's data reveals the Q4 2023 performance trends for leading theme park apps on Android in Latin America. Downloads and active users are on the rise for the top industry players.
As the year 2023 wrapped up, Sensor Tower has provided valuable insights into the performance of the top five theme park applications on the Android platform in Latin America during the fourth quarter. Here's a breakdown of their trends in downloads and weekly active users.
Six Flags saw an upward trend in both downloads and active users. Downloads started at approximately 4.6K in the last week of September and surged to 16K by the end of December. Weekly active users also increased from 22K to nearly 45K in the same period, showing a growing engagement with the app.
For My Disney Experience, downloads began the quarter at around 5K and peaked at 7K towards the end of December. Active users steadily grew from 6.2K to 7.6K, indicating a consistent gain in the app's user base.
Disneyland® experienced a similar upward trajectory. The app's downloads increased from about 3.1K to 4.4K, while active users rose from just over 11K to 13.4K throughout the quarter.
The Universal Orlando Resort app also showed positive growth. Downloads climbed from approximately 2.4K to 3.5K, and the number of weekly active users went from 6K to 7.6K, reflecting a healthy increase in engagement.
Lastly, Universal Hollywood™ App downloads and active users both trended upwards. Starting at 1.6K downloads in late September, the app finished the quarter with nearly 3K. Active users grew from 2.7K to 4.4K, capping off a successful quarter.
